Tarpaulins for waterproofing of reservoirs

PVC-coated fabric (PVC tarpaulin) is a technical product with countless applications, both at home and at work. We at Teloni Tosetto, thanks to our technical know-how and thirty years of experience in the field, have perfected our technology for the use of reinforced PVC tarpaulins (in various colours), or alternatively in IDROEVA ® (two-colour) for the waterproofing of reservoirs and a variety of applications, of any shape and size.

In particular, IDROEVA ® sheets are made with EVA/C ethylene and vinyl acetate copolymers, with a high VA content. The sheets are very elastic, and easily adapt to uneven surfaces. They are also extremely resistant to puncturing and offer the best surface yield, with a specific weight of only 0.52 kg/m2. Ground and base sheets for artificial basins are pre-assembled specifically in our works, treated with anti-UV stabilizing additives and protection against micro algae, with characteristics of the greatest impermeability.

They can also be supplied in solutions suitable for foodstuffs (for drinking water reservoirs), and compatibility with aggressive chemical substances can be verified each time the need arises.

They can be used for a wide variety of applications, including but not only:

• in the agricultural field to create irrigation reservoirs, particularly useful in periods of drought or in regions with a low rainfall;
• in the environmental protection field they can be used to create reservoirs for mobile fire-fighting equipment or helicopters;
• in the production field they can be used as reservoirs, catchment basins for rain water to save water supplies, as a reserve in the case of unexpected requirements of any type of liquids, as storage sties for a variety of materials and in particularly for rubbish tips;
• in the building and street furniture fields they can also be used for technical or aesthetic installations: fountains or lakes in parks, public and private gardens or golf courses, the installation and covering of swimming pools, rain water catchment basins and for waterproofing channels;
• in the fish-farming field; In specific situations they can be used to create bogs in river parks, and particular types of natural habitat for flora and fauna, or as expansion "basins" for floods (especially in quarries and river-beds after the extraction of inert material).

These basins can be of any shape and size; total adaptability to the characteristics of the ground and the flow of the liquids both incoming and outgoing.
